Argentina’s Heritage

Argentina contains a conglomeration of the valuable heritage sights that have both biological and cultural importance attached to them. Some of the Argentina’s Heritage sights that are present in the World Heritage Sites’ list of UNESCO are briefly discussed below:

Jesuit Block and Estancias of Cordoba The Jesuit Block and Estancias of Cordoba were incorporated into the UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites in the year 2000. The Jesuit dominance can be seen in the architecture of the residential buildings, the most significant Cordoba University, a church and a school. Not only this section shows such Jesuits ideals but these styles can be found in the entire group of the estancias in the regions of Cordoba. Together these Estancias comprised six in number including the Alta Gracia, San Ignacio, Santa Catalina, Caroya, Candelaria and Jesus Maria. Every single estancia contains its own architecture both of religious and stylish significance that comprise the towns formed over the years. The most compelling thing is an addition of European styles in the traditional structural showcasing the cultural aspects of the period.
